SwimKids extends sincere gratitude to Marilyn Kelly, her family, friends, and the Montclair Seahawks Swim Team for their generous $900 donation to the SwimKids Special Needs program. After an incredible 35 years of coaching the Montclair Seahawks summer league swim team in Prince William County, Coach Kelly retired this past August, leaving behind a legacy of leadership, mentorship, and dedication to young swimmers.
To honor her commitment and impact, the team chose to give a meaningful gift that continues to serve others by donating to SwimKids’ Special Needs program. In recognition of this generous gesture, SwimKids is matching the $900 donation and establishing the Marilyn Kelly Fund, a scholarship program designed to support underprivileged children with special needs. This fund will help ensure that more children have access to swim lessons, water safety education, and the confidence that comes from learning new skills in the water.
A lasting legacy that truly pays it forward.
