Ages: 2 - 36 mos

The number one question new parents ask is: “Is my infant too young for baby swim lessons?” Our Answer: “SwimBabies are SmartBabies – NOW is the time to get your child in the pool. It’s the BEST place for them to develop their brain as well as their safety skills. Babies are born to be in the water! We start at two-months-old for FREE!”

Babies love the mobility a weightless environment offers, and you’ll love helping them learn to enjoy the water — while being safe. Our professional instructors focus on babies learning to swim with fun songs and games.

Baby swim classes are also the ultimate bonding time. You’ll be surprised by how quickly they adapt, and the benefits they enjoy even outside our pool.

SwimBabies (not walking)

Ages: 6-12 mos. with parent

Baby isn’t walking yet… but you’ll be amazed by the mobility and increased cognitive advancement they experience while in the water. A weightless water environment allows babies to exercise more muscles than they do on land. Since movement and sensory stimulation is crucial to physical and cognitive development, our lessons provide an opportunity to stimulate your baby’s brain. Swimming each week for 30 minutes gives you that uninterrupted time with your babies that you crave. There is nothing more special than connecting with your child and seeing them light up with delight and laughter.

SwimToddlers (walking)

Ages: 12-35 mos. with parent

Baby is beginning to walk, explore and learn about their world. The very first thing we teach our swimmers at SwimKids is safe entry, where they learn to wait and only enter the pool with the "okay" from an adult. The critical skills of learning to wait, and learning how to follow directions will benefit them for life! The Australian Griffith Study proved that babies who take swim lessons are ahead of their peers in "oral expression” (being able to speak and explain things)? (Griffith University, 2013) This means parents of swimmers get to hear "I love you!" earlier!

SuperTwos

Ages: 24-35 mos. without parent.

Your baby was born for the water! When your two-year-old is ready for lessons without a parent, can submerge independently for several seconds and swim away from the wall to a nearby adult, they can proudly call themselves a SuperTwo. When you bring your baby to swim lessons, you're reducing their risk of drowning by 88% Swimming is a complete physical workout, which in turn assists heart, lung and muscular development. Did you know that children who swim starting at a young age are up to two years ahead of what’s typical in demonstrating increasing independence? They're also more enthusiastic in the company of other children at an earlier age. Your child’s eyes will light up every time they see our pool!
