We have inline UV sanitation in our pools; do you know what that is?

Our goal, number one focus, and core value is and has always been the SAFETY of your children. This is why SwimKids facilities have been equipped from day one with state of the art Ultraviolet sanitation systems that kill bacteria and viruses.

What is an Ultraviolet (UV) Pool Sanitizer?

Ultraviolet (UV) pool sanitizers utilize a cutting-edge, non-chemical process that uses germicidal UV light rays to sanitize water, air and surfaces. Ultraviolet pool sanitizers emit a high intensity germicidal light ray that alters or disrupts the DNA or RNA of targeted organisms such as algae, bacteria, viruses, cysts and protozoa. The highly concentrated electromagnetic energy also destroys organic matter, eliminating the formation of dangerous chlorine by-products.

Ten years ago our founders had the foresight to build our swimming pool pump rooms and redundant filters with inline UV systems knowing these precautions would keep the water cleaner and therefore safer. We are committed to going above and beyond to keep our families and staff safe. As such, our sanitation systems exceed all industry requirements and standards. In addition to inline UV and chemical disinfection (chlorine), our filtration turnover rates are two to three times faster than county health department standards. We closely monitor the water chemistry at all our pools through continuous electronic monitoring and manual water testing methods.

Thank you for your patience and trust in SwimKids. Swimming remains one of the best and safest activities for your child. Most of all, thank you for your support in keeping our community healthy.
